The Timex World Time Reissue is a classic design from the golden era of jet travel. Originally released in 1972, the World Time Reissue’s throwback design has a circular brushed stainless steel case, black-and-white dial, and trapezoid date window. The bezel is marked with different cities and a plus or minus symbol to indicate whether the current time is head of your local time when rotated to the hour hand. A modern quartz movement replaces the original electric, a welcome change. An interesting note on the time zones: The World Time Reissue is so authentic to the original that the watch uses 1972 time zones that have since changed, making it an almost too-accurate reissue.
